GIFA has eight committees that report to the Executive Committee as can be seen in the structure chart. The names of the committees and their chairs can be seen below.

Mike Lees has been a member of the GIFA Compliance Sub Committee since 2008 and was appointed the Chairman of that Committee in August 2014.
Mike is currently Compliance Officer and Money laundering Reporting Officer for Northern Trust International Fund Administration Services (Guernsey) Limited and has held that role since 2006.
BNP Paribas Securities Services SCA , Chairman of Custodian and Depositary Sub-Committee
Colin has been an active member of GIFA since becoming a member of the Custodian Sub Committee in 2008. Colin has recently represented the Custodian’s on both the Guernsey Class B Rules Working Group and the Guernsey AIFMD Working Group.
Colin is the Branch Manager of BNP Paribas Securities Services SCA and also responsible for Trustee and Depositary Services across BNP Paribas Securities Services CI&IOM. Colin has worked for BNP Paribas for 6 years, having previously headed up the Securities Services Business of RBS International Guernsey that BNP Paribas acquired in 2007.

Adam Moorshead is the Managing Director for JTC (Guernsey) Limited and has has overall responsibility for all of JTC's business divisions and operations in Guernsey and, in particular, plays an active role in the Institutional Client Services division.
He has over 25 years’ experience within financial services and extensive management experience within the investment fund industry, specialising in business transformation, client service delivery, fund operations and systems.
Adam has held senior positions with Kleinwort Benson, Man Investments, Credit Suisse and Rothschild Asset Management working in London, Dublin, Switzerland and the Channel Islands.
He holds a number of directorships on investment companies.
Chairman of the Marketing and Events Sub Committee
Mr Robin Fuller incorporated Guernsey Funds Consultancy Limited (‘GFC’) in April, 2014. Prior to incorporating GFC Mr Fuller held a number of positions as managing director of fund management and fund administration companies including Rothschild Asset Management (CI) Limited in Guernsey and an appointment as Director of Rothschild Asset Management Limited, London. He has over thirty five years of experience of fund management and fund administration. Mr Fuller is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (Institute of Financial Services) and a Fellow of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. His directorships include non-executive directorships of a number of leading Fund groups and fund management companies.
Michael de Haaff, was employed by the Eurostep Group, an industrial and financial services group, until he retired from his role at the end of June 2014. Prior to that he was a Managing Director of Close Fund Services Limited until May 2006 having joined them from Rothschild Asset Management (C.I.) Limited in June 1985. He is a non-executive director of a number of Guernsey based mutual fund companies and investment companies based in Guernsey. He is a Member of the Institute of Directors, is a past Chairman of the Guernsey Investment Fund Association (“GIFA”) and acts as a consultant to GIFA.
Alistair Boyle was involved with the formation of the GIFA Principal Managers’ Sub Committee and was appointed as its first Chairman.
Alistair heads up the Guernsey office of Permira, a large European private equity firm advising funds with a total committed capital of approximately €22bn. Prior to setting up the Permira office in 2007 Alistair spent 5 years with Northern Trust as a Vice President in its private equity team. Alistair spent the first 5 years of his career in London with Rawlinson & Hunter.
Alistair has various financial, regulatory and administration responsibilities for the Permira Group and Funds. Alistair serves as a director on the boards of the Permira Fund General Partners and is a member of Permira’s Group Tax Committee.
Alistair is a Chartered Accountant and holds the IoD Certificate in Company Direction.
Chair of the Technical Committee
Haley has worked in Guernsey’s finance industry since 2001 and specialises in the corporate secretarial, establishment and ongoing technical needs of complex fund and fiduciary structures across a wide range of asset classes.
She has held management roles for third party fund administrators for the last seven years, first as head of corporate secretarial and latterly with the added responsibility of new business, has sat as a voting member of operational compliance and risk committees and client acceptance committees and as project manager in respect of a number of new promoter and fund applications and for high-profile IPOs, secondary capital raisings and conversions across the Channel Islands, London (Main Market, AIM and SFM) and other stock exchanges globally. Haley has also headed up AIFMD and FATCA implementation projects, including leading the establishment of an AIFMD depositary “lite” business in Guernsey, and has provided in-house technical expertise and training on legal, regulatory and other rules-based matters. She has acted as a non-executive director and alternate director to a number of fund and fiduciary structures and as company secretary to a third party fund administrator. Haley holds a LLB (Hons) from the University of Buckingham and is qualified as a barrister, having been called to the Bar of England & Wales in July 2012. Haley sits as Deputy Chairman of the Technical Sub-Committee of the Guernsey Investment Fund Association.
